In Concert:
the African Children's Choir

The African Children’s Choir features delightful African children ages 7 through 11.
Many have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine and disease. Their voices sing out on behalf of Africa’s 12 million AIDS orphans.
They represent the future of the entire continent, demonstrating the potential to become strong leaders for a better future in their homeland.

You are invited to attend this musical event featuring lively spirituals,
well loved children's songs and colourful traditional African songs and
dance.
This Choir touring the mid-western United States is comprised of 26 children
aged six to ten from Uganda. Many of the children have lost one or both
parents to AIDS or extreme poverty. Their concerts are raising awareness and
support for themselves, their brothers and sisters, and over 15 million
orphans back in Africa.
There is no admission charge for this community concert. A free-will
offering will be taken at the concert to support the work of the African
Children's Choir, currently benefiting over 6,700 children in Uganda, Rwanda,
Nigeria, Ghana, Sudan, Kenya and South Africa.
